Reinventing your Handicraft Lodge +

Is your handicraft program boring? Are your Scouts making baskets that even their Mom does not love? Attendees at this hands on conference will learn how to use the next nine months to raise the bar of their camp’s Handicraft Area. Topics will run the gambit from making better baskets to welding to the finances of the Handicraft area. Handicraft should be a dynamic part of your summer offerings to excite Scouts about what is possible and introducing them to their lifelong interests. Merit badges to be discussed will include art, basket weaving, leatherwork, pottery, welding, and wood carving. Let us help you bring your Handicraft Area to the next level.

Week 9: August 6-12
