The Council Outdoor Programs Committee is one of the most important leadership functions that delivers an integrated and holistic approach to providing relevant and exciting programs to inspire youth and families to join and remain in Scouting. This course delivers the tools for Council leaders to bring together under a common governance structure all 20 Specialty Program Committees such as fishing, shooting, camping, aquatics, high adventure, climbing, etc., and support functions such as Health and Safety, Marketing, Order of the Arrow, NYLT, Woodbadge, and Religious Relations to produce the best outdoor adventures that excite our marketplace.
